June Butler

June Butler, age 83 of Osawatomie, Ks. died November 30, 2011 at the Life Care Center of Osawatomie.

June was born March 23, 1928 in Grandview, Mo. to William Martin Butler and Edna Hazel (Sechrest) Butler. She was the fourth child of five children.


June attended school in Grandview, Mo. and graduated in 1946.
She moved to Osawatomie, Ks. in 1962 and worked at several restaurants in the area as a cook, The Wallace House 10 years, Aggies Smorgasboard 4 years, Eastgate Resturant 10 years and Griffs Resturant 2 years.


Sunday’s were a special day for June, she loved the Lord and was a member of the Osawatomie Assembly of God Church where she sang and played the guitar.

June was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Martin Butler and Keith Butler and one sister Lola Gordon.


She is survived by one sister, Zaida McNevin of Misson, Ks. nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 10:30am Saturday Dec.3, 2011 Visitation 9:30am-10:30am Saturday Dec.3, 2011.
