Travis LaVern Williams

Travis LaVern Williams, age 41, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died unexpectedly, on December 4, 2011 at his home in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Travis was born June 12, 1970 at Paola, Kansas. He was the second of two children born to John and Maudie (Julane) Williams. He attended schools in Wellsville, Hillsdale, and Paola. He later went to JCCC and received an associate’s degree in civil engineering.

Travis got married to Jessica Ward on June 17, 1994 in Paola. They later bought a house in Osawatomie. They had two children of this marriage.

He worked as a brick mason until his arms were disabled, 17 years. Then he started his career as an engineer and moved to North Carolina in September of 2010.

He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Williams and his brother, Raliegh L. Williams.

He is survived by his mother, Maudie J. Williams of Osawatomie, KS.; one daughter, Cheyenne S. Williams, 17, of Osawatomie, KS.; one son, Stone L. Williams, 15, of Osawatomie, KS.; ex-wife, Jessica J. Williams of Osawatomie, KS.
