Charles Wayne Howard

Charles Wayne Howard, age 76, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Heritage Nursing Home in Girard, Kansas.

Charles was born March 28, 1935 in Louisburg, Kansas to Orris Wayne and Edna Lanore Edith (York) Howard. He was the oldest of three children.

Charles was married to Dottie Jean Lowery in Drexel, Missouri. She preceded him in death. He then married Nora Lea Taylor in Summerset, Kansas. She also preceded him in death.

Charles worked in the oil fields in and around Louisburg until retiring in 1997.

He was preceded in death by both his wives and one brother, James Justin Howard.

He is survived by his sister Louella Marie Howard of Osawatomie, Ks. and one nephew, Paul J. Howard of Pomona, Ks.

Charles was cremated and a private family service will be at a later date.
