FRANK RICHARD WINSKY
Frank Richard Winsky, age 82, of Parker, Kansas, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Frank was born January 7, 1930 in Kansas City, Ks. to Albert and Josephine (Elam) Winsky.
Frank was married on February 21, 1946 in Olathe, Ks to Wilma Jean Dean. They made their home in Kansas City, Ks. and became the parents of four children. In 1971 they moved to Parker, Ks.
Frank started working for the Santa Fe Railroad out of Argentine, Ks. in 1945 as a Section Hand. After forty-one years he retired in 1987 as Sand House Foreman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Frank Richard and Barbara Winsky of Kearney, Mo. and Terry Lee and Willa Winsky of Waverly, Ks; two daughters, Jo and Ed Cronin of Shawnee, Ks. and Sharon Kay and Keith Adams of Mound City, Ks.; seventeen Grandchildren, thirty-eight great Grandchildren, eight great great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie with burial in the Parker Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8pm February 7, 2012.
Memorials are to the American Heart Association.
