Dorothy Marie Miller

Dorothy Marie Miller, age 86, of Paola, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Louisburg, Kansas.

Dorothy was born November 17, 1925 in Nishnabotna, Missouri, to Albert Leo and Violet M. (Bettinger) Bradley.

Dorothy was married on March 6, 1946 in Vallejo, California, to Albert R. Miller. They made their home in California for 17 years. They became the parents of nine children. In 1961 they moved to the Beagle, Ks area.

Dorothy was a homemaker that stayed at home to raise the children.


She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband; three sons, Richard Harrison “Rick” Miller, Larry Cochrane and David Steven Miller (stillborn); one brother, Alvie “Buck” Bradley; one sister, Pauline Previts.

She is survived by one son, Mark Miller of Fontana, Ks; five daughters, Samantha Greene of Louisburg, Ks, Linda Snow of Pleasant Hill, Mo, Raeann Ramsey of Paola, Ks, Gwen Miller of Kansas City, Ks and Gale Kats of McKinney, Tx; 27 Grandchildren , many great-Grandchildren and a few great great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30pm, Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie with Burial in the Beagle Cemetery, Beagle, Ks. Visitation from 4-6pm, Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Memorials are to the Dorothy Marie Miller Memorial Fund.
