Angelea Sharon Dilley, age 68 of rural Parker, Kansas, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in an automobile accident on Interstate 35 near Kearney, Missouri.
Angelea was born January 26, 1944 in Bagley, Minnesota. She was the third of five children of Irvin Boe and Glenna Mae (Spencer) Boe.
Angelea attended school in Thief River Falls and Bagley, Minn.
She was married November 6th, 1962 to Donald Wayne Dilley in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Kansas City, Mo. where she worked for Van Chevrolet. They moved to Paola in 1972, where she drove a school bus for Paola District and then to Parker in 1973. Angie, as many knew her, was a seamstress and worked for Westmark making clothing of all kinds , mostly jackets and coats, in both Osawatomie and Parker. They became the parents of three children.
Angelea is preceded in death by her husband, her parents; grand parents and one sister, who died with her, Carolyn Sue “Peggy” Goode of Adrian, Mo.
She is survived by three sons, Bruce Allen Boe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Donald Wayne Dilley Jr. of Parker, Ks, and Darrel Edward Dilley of Parker, Ks; one daughter, Lora Anne Gibbs of Devon, Ks; one brother Darold Gregory of Cloquet, Minn.; two sisters, Cleone Gay of Guthrie, Ok. and Lannette Kay “Baby” Baker of Thief River Falls, Minn.; 16 Grandchildren and 18 great Grandchildren.
A joint visitation with her sister Carolyn will be from 6-8pm, Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, Osawatomie, Ks.
Graveside Services will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Tuesday at 10am. The Cemetery is located at 15767 Keitel Rd. Parker, Ks. 66072.
