Calliope Monroe Conner, age 5 months, 3 weeks, 5 days, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Calliope was born December 1, 2011 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. She was the third of 4 children born to Robert Darrell Conner and Lacy Marie (Diediker) Conner of Osawatomie, KS.

She was preceded in death by her Maternal Great Grandparents; Wayne and Trissie Diediker, and her Paternal Great Grandfather; Richard Nicholas.

She is survived by; Both her parents, one brother, Jackson Aiden Conner: age two, two sisters, Suri Loralei Conner, age 5, and her twin sister Paisley Bay Conner. Her Maternal Grandparents; Lyle and Diana Diediker of Osawatomie, KS. Her Maternal Great Grandparents, David and Mary Stocksen or Osawatomie. Her paternal grandmother, Debbie and Ralph Minden of Gardner, KS. Her Paternal great grandmother, Joyce Nicholas of Louisburg, KS. Her paternal great great great grandmother, Evelyn Cravens or Denison, TX.


Funeral Services will be held at 1:30pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Cross Point Church, 1016 N. Pearl, Paola, KS, with burial in the Osawatomie Cemetery. Visitation Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 6-8pm at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home. Memorials are to the Calliope Conner Memorial Fund.
