Gary Ray Shadden

Gary Ray Shadden, age 62 of rural Osawatomie, Ks. died Monday July 2, 2012 at the Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Ks.

Gary was born August 15, 1949 in Fort Scott, Ks. He was the youngest of 12 children born to Floyd Raymond and Mary Emeretta (Graver) Shadden.

Gary lived with his mother until her death in 1988. At that time he moved to Osawatomie and lived with his nephew Bill E. and niece Debbie Shadden.

Gary liked the color gray, the songs Labamba and Sweet Caroline, Milkyway candy bars and white milk and pancakes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Floyd, Lyle, Harry and Rayland and one sister: Evelyn.

He is survived by two brothers: Bill A. Shadden if Mound City, Ks and Jim Shadden of Fort Scott, Ks.
Four sisters: Brenda Mosley of Osawatomie: Pauline Plain of Fort Scott, Ks., Viola Rittinghouse of Texas, Lenora King of Marshall, Mo. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Gary will be at 10am Thursday July 5, 2012 at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Fort Scott, Ks.
