Mildred Eloise Scott...Age 89

Mildred Eloise Scott, age 85 of Osawatomie, Ks. died Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Vintage Park of Osawatomie.

Mildred was born October 21, 1926 in Hand, Arkansas. She was the second of six children born to William Jacob Kitts and Lula Bernida (Stark) Kitts.

Mildred met John Bozarth when they both lived in Kansas City, Mo. They were married on Oct. 24, 1950.
During their 24-year marriage, they lived in Missouri, Texas, Kentucky, Georgia and Nashville, Tn. They had three daughters.

Mildred was a certified medication aide and worked in nursing homes. She moved to Osawatomie in 1974, worked in nursing homes and was a desk clerk at Eastgate Motel until retiring in1988.

She was a member of the Osawatomie Southern Baptist Church and also attended the Faith Baptist Church in Osawatomie.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Willie Linson and one brother John Kitts.

She is survived by three daughters: Joanne Hawks of The Villages, Florida, Patricia Broussard of Sulfur, Louisiana, and Sherri Ferguson of Murfreesboro Tennessee. One brother: Durward Kitts of Holiday, Mo. and one sister: Cretia Grosskreutz of Fontana, Ks.

Six grandchildren : Christy Greanade of Red Boiling Springs, Tn. Joel Henley Jr. and Jeremy Henley of Nashville, Tn. Melody,Jessica and Abby Ferguson of Murfreesboro, Tn. and eight nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00am Monday July 9, 2012 at the Faith Baptist Church of Osawatomie burial to follow at Goodrich Cemetery, Goodrich, Ks.
Visitation 10:00am-11:00am prior to services also at the church.
