Marylynn Pamela (Miller) Speakman age 65, of rural Paola, Ks. died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her home. Marylynn was born February 27, 1947 in Cardiff, South Wales. She was the oldest of six children born to Duane Benedict Miller and Pamela Barbara (Evans) Miller, late of Edgerton, Ks.

Marylynn married Richard William Pund on October 20, 1962 in Kansas City, Mo. They made their home there until 1971 and moved to Connecticut in 1976. They became the parents of two daughters. The marriage ended in divorce in 1979.

On November 29, 1986 she married Donald Steven Speakman in Lawrence, Ks. While living in Lawrence she attended the University of Kansas to work on her Bachelors degree. They lived in Lawrence until moving to the Paola area December 15, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Steven T. Miller and Edmund V. Miller.

She is survived by her husband Steven, two daughters: Angela Marie Jackson of Groton, Conn. and Mary Frances Flynn of East Hampton, Conn. Two step sons: Morgan Speakman of Cameron, Mo. and Lucas Speakman of Basehor, Ks.

Three brothers: Dennis D. Miller of Wellsville, Ks., Kenneth L. Miller of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Timothy Miller of Edgerton, Ks. and six grand children, Caleb, Emily, Noah, Matthew, Abigail and Laurn.
