Robert Darrell Conner age 27 of Osawatomie, KS died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at his home.

Robert was born July 2, 1985 in Paola, KS he was the son of Robert William“Bob”Conner and Debbie Maureen Nicholas.

Robert grew up in Miami County and attended grade school in Paola, he attended high school in Louisburg, KS and graduated in the class of 2003.

On April 12, 2006 Robert married Lacy Marie Diediker in Paola, KS. They made their home in Osawatomie and became the parents of four children.

In January 2004 he went to work as a correction officer for the Kansas Department of Corrections. He worked at the Medium Security Prison at the State Hospital in Osawatomie and later at the State Prison in Lansing, KS. until late 2009. He then went to work for Coleman Distribution in Gardner, KS from November 2009 until January 2011.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Calliope Monroe Conner age 5 months on May 27, 2012, his father Robert “Bob” Conner on September 28, 2012, a half sister Lisa Collins , paternal grandfather, Mr. Conner and maternal grandfather, Richard Nicholas.

Survivors are his wife Lacy, son Jackson age 2, two daughters Suri age 5, and Paisley age 10 1/2months all of the home. His mother Debbie Minden of Gardner, KS, brother Corey Schramm of Gardner, half brother Brandon Conner of Lebanon, Mo. paternal grandmother Joyce Nicholas of Overland Park, KS , and maternal grandmother Pat Sumner of Olathe, KS.
