Florence Mary Reese....74

Florence Mary Reese age 74, of Osceola, Mo. formerly of Osawatomie died December 18, 2012 at her home in Osceola.

Florence was born October 16, 1938 the ninth child of ten to Augustine Dela Cruz and Nicolasa (Toledo) Dela Cruz in Osawatomie, KS.

She grew up in Osawatomie and graduated from Osawatomie High School in the class of 1956.
She worked as a nurse’s aid at the Osawatomie State Hospital.

On March 5, 1974 she married Evan D. Reese. Evan died November 5, 2003.

Florence is preceded in death by her husband, three brothers: Pete Dela Cruz, Albert Dela Cruz, and Salvador Dela Cruz and one sister: Carman Fairman.

She is survived by one brother: Jesse Dela Cruz of San Antonio, TX and four sisters: Minnie Medina of Osawatomie, KS ,Juanita Fonseca of Gardner, KS, Pauline Wilson of Las Vegas, NV and Elizabeth Romero of Lawrence, KS.

Cremation, services at a later date.
