Henry Douglas, age 53 of Parker, Kansas died Monday April 15, 2013 at the Miami County Medical Center in Paola, Kansas.

Henry was born November 29, 1959 in Kansas City, KS. He was the 3rd of 5 children born to Charles Edwards Douglas and Cecilia Mae Probst Douglas.

The family moved to Stanley, Kansas where Henry went to grade school, he attended Jr. High in DeSoto and High school In Louisburg.

Henry worked for Houston Contracting out of Olathe, Kansas and then worked over 10 years for the City of Olathe in the Parks and Recreation Department between mid 90’s and 2006.

He was married to Renee Marie Adams in Olathe, Kansas on October 11, 2008. They made their home in Osawatomie and became the parents of two children.

Henry is preceded in death by his parents.

Henry is survived by his wife Renee Marie (Adams) Douglas of Osawatomie, Two Daughters: Emily Viglini of Gardner, Kansas and Lizabeth May Douglas (Age 1 ½), and One Son Charles Edwards Allen Douglas (Age 5) both of Osawatomie. Two Brothers: Charles Ernest Douglas of Parker, Kansas and Jack Edwards Douglas of Paola, Kansas. Two sisters: Sarah Jane Mead of Paola, Kansas and Julie Ann Hughes of Osawatomie. One Half Sister: Ethel Theressa Bishop of Melvern, Kansas.
