Earline Kathryn Bossaller...Age 79

Earline Kathryn Bossaller age 79, of Osawatomie, Kansas formerly of Jefferson City, Missouri died Friday May 10, 2013 at the Life Care Center of Osawatomie.

Earline was born December 7, 1933 in Leslie, Missouri. She was the second of five children born to Walter Lee and Margaret Ann (Grob) Lindemeyer. She attended school in the Leslie area. Earline was a good student and received many awards while attending school. Many of which was for excellent attendance, she liked to read and was awarded certificates from the reading club at school. Earline graduated from Union High School on May 16, 1952 in Union, Missouri.


She was married to William Henry Gleason on June 15, 1956. They became the parents of four children. William died on May 25, 1973.

On September 11, 1976 Earline married Louis Albert Bossaller in Freedom, Missouri. Ten years later on December 12, 1986 the marriage ended in divorce.

Earline lived mainly in Missouri until moving to the Osawatomie area in the late 1990’s. She lived on Oscar St. and at the Carr apartments in Osawatomie until she had to move to an assisted living facility. She then moved to Country Club Estates in Paola, KS until she went to live at the Life Care Center of Osawatomie due to failing health.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two children: Angelia Kay Gleason who died at birth June 23, 1966 and one son Michael Lee Gleason who died February 24, 2012, one infant grandchild Ridge Hargrove and one sister Iola Mowers.

She is survived by two children: Dale Allen Gleason and wife Maria of Jefferson City, MO and Joan Earline (Gleason) Dixon of Eldon, MO. Three brothers: Allen (Sonny) Lindemeyer , Otto (Peanut) Lindemeyer both of Gerald, MO and Dennis Lindemeyer of Rosebud, MO. Nine grandchildren, one step granddaughter and fifteen great-grandchildren.
