Patruck Kevin Tenpenny (Little Pat) age 54, of Osawatomie, Kansas died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his home.

Pat was born in Paola, Kansas on August 29, 1959 to Patrick Dalton and Frances Lenore (Rowzee) Tenpenny the second of three children.

He attended elementary school at Osawatomie East. The family then moved to Olathe, Kansas where he attended Millbrooke Jr. High School. They then moved to Shawnee Mission, Kansas where he attended Shawnee Mission West High School in Overland Park, Kansas and graduated with the class of 1977.

He married Peggy Bewley, they made their home in Osawatomie and they became the parents of one daughter, Crystal. The marriage ended in divorce.

Pat later married Terre Jones in Bloomington, Indiana on April 19, 1983. They made their home in Shawnee, Kansas. They became the parents of one son Patrick J. Tenpenny. Their son Patrick died April 7, 2007 at the young age of 22. The marriage ended in divorce.


Pat moved back to Osawatomie in 2009. He worked in the construction industry installing hardwood flooring.

He liked to boat and water ski at Miola Lake in Paola and enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning, he also enjoyed watching movies.

Pat was preceded in death by his mother Frances, his son Patrick and a sister Janella Wittenbrink.

He is survived by his father Patrick D. Tenpenny of the home, his daughter Crystal Tenpenny of LaCygne, KS and one step son Johnathan Fender of Indiana. One brother Britt A. Tenpenny of Shawnee Mission, KS, two sisters: Debra R. Marra of Hobart, IN, Laura Tenpenny of Shawnee Mission, KS and four grandchildren: Zack, Taylor, Dakota and Shawn, nieces, nephews, great nieces and many other family and friends.
