Susie Anne Shore age 48, of Paola, Kansas losing her battle with cancer, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas.


Susie was born June 6, 1966 in Jacksonville, Florida the fifth child of six born to James Cleburn and Elizabeth Louise (Boyce) Lamp.
The family later moved to Missouri and Susie graduated from Belton High School, Belton, Missouri in the class of 1984.

On January 19, 1985 she married Kelly Ray Shore in Wichita, Kansas, they became the parents of two children Crystal and Steven. In March of 1993 the family moved to Miami County and made their home in Paola, Kansas where they lived for twenty years. Kelly and Susie divorced in March of 2012 after twenty-seven years.

Susie was a stay at home wife and mother, caring for her family was the most important thing to her. She loved her children and wanted to watch them grow up. However about ten years ago she began an online business selling many different things on E-Bay. She loved being an “E-Bayer” and was quite successful at it.

She enjoyed relaxing by the water fishing and liked cooking and baking, but she loved quilting and making hand -made quilts. She liked taking care of her Australian Shepherd mix *Sirius” that died a few years ago. But if you asked her what her favorite thing to do was she would tell you spend time with her three grandchildren, Riley, Eliza and Cecilia. Susie loved being a grandmother more than anything and loved to help take care of them and spend time with them. She was delighted to be able to live with them and see them every day.

Susie was preceded in death by both of her parents.


She is survived by her children’s father Kelly Ray Shore of Olathe, KS, her two children Crystal Owens and husband Joel of Gardner, Kansas, her son Steven Shore of Spring Hill, Kansas and her three grandchildren, Riley, Eliza and Cecilia Owens of Gardner, Kansas.

Susie was cremated and a committal of ashes will be at a later date.
