Cledys Atwater, 81, of Osawatomie, Kansas passed away March 18, 2015 at Life Care Center of Osawatomie.

He was born March 7, 1934 in Centerville, Kansas.

Cledys married Charlene Farr on September 11, 1954 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Cledys proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, and was a rural mail carrier, serving postal patrons in the Stanley/Stillwell, Centerville, and Mound City, Kansas area for forty years.

Preceding him in death were his wife Charlene Atwater, parents: William Francis and Sylvia May (Melton) Atwater, brothers: Clovis (George) Eldon Atwater and Adrian Lorraine Johnson.

He is survived by his three children: son Grayden Royce Atwater (Cinda), daughters: Lori Rachelle French (David) of Osawatomie, Kansas and Lisa Renee Klebba (John) of Linn, Missouri. There are eight much loved grandchildren, Abby, Aaron, Andy and Annie French, John (Jessica) Klebba, Joe (Emilee) Klebba, Megan Klebba and Patrick Klebba. One great grandchild, Jacey Klebba, daughter of John and Jessica Klebba, and sister in law, Judy Atwater of Lenexa, Kansas.
