Audrey Louise Tate, 75, of Beagle, Kansas, departed this life on July 17, 2015.

She was born on October 12, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to Robert Tate and Lillian Bryant.

She loved life and adored gardening the day away. She spent many years house painting and being an over the road truck driver. Her travels took her all over which she loved, but she always loved going home. In later years, she spent many hours volunteering all over Miami County including the John Brown museum, the Miami County extension office and the Historical Miami County Land Office.

She loved her family and her family loved her very much

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Milton, and Paul Tate.

She is survived by two brothers, Bob Tate and wife Monica, Joe Derostyne and a sister, Mary (Tootsie) Troncoso, her long-time friend, Danny McLain of the home, and her 7 children: John Spivey and his wife Martha of Groton, Connecticut, James Spivey and his wife Millie of Windsor, Ontario, Lassey Murphy of Lane, Kansas, Cindy Wilkins of Jacksonville, Florida, Jennifer Huggard and her husband Tony of Weatherford, Texas, Kaprelle Bradley of Lawrence, Kansas and Sholeena Gable and her husband Brian of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Andy, Kevin, Meghan, Felicity, Jason, Nathaniel, Heather, Brittany, Geoffrey, Christian, Stephen, Kristina, Maia, Victoria, Morgan, and Phillip. As well as 9 great grandchildren, Ryan, Cody, Christopher, Sery, Cannon, Elijah, Madelyn, Magdelyn and Kendall.

A celebration of her colorful life was held on July 19, 2015 at her favorite place in the world, her house in Beagle, Kansas with her loved ones together. She will be missed forever. We love you Mom.
