Michelle Lynne Pruett age 37 of Osawatomie, KS died Friday July 1, 2016, after her courageous battle with Cancer.

Michelle was born June 10, 1979 in Paola, Kansas. She is the youngest of three children born to Gary W. Sobba and Cathy Lynne Coffelt.

She has lived in the Miami and Linn County area for all of her life. She attended school in Prairie View and graduated with the class of 1998. After school she worked at various jobs, sometimes working more than one job at a time.

In 2005, she was blessed with the birth of her daughter Cheyann. Her life completely changed after becoming a mother, Michelle’s world was Cheyann. She loved going to all of the activities that Cheyann participated in. She would take her to basketball, softball and dance. She was very involved and supportive in all the things Cheyann was a part of. Michelle was also very close with her two nieces and nephew.

In the past few years, Michelle decided to go back to school. She attended Fort Scott Community College in Paola.

Michelle was preceded in death by grandparents, Basil Coffelt of Osawatomie, KS; Orville & Evelyn Sobba of Garnett, KS.

She is survived by her daughter Cheyann Pruett of the home, parents Cathy Coffelt of Osawatomie, KS and Gary Sobba of LaCygne, KS, two brothers Ryan (wife, Angel) Sobba of Parker, KS and Robbie Sobba of Pittsburg, KS, maternal grandmother Jeris Coffelt ,Two nieces Courtney Prather and Chloe Sobba and one nephew Caleb Sobba. Along with many other family and friends.
