Daniel Blaine Maimer age 31, of Warrensburg, Missouri died unexpectedly on July 21, 2016.

Daniel was born the second child of three to Mark and Cheri (Reeve) Maimer on September 5, 1984 in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Daniel grew up in a military home so every few years the Air Force transferred the family to a new state. He attended school in several different states including New Mexico, Kansas, South Dakota and Missouri.  He graduated from Douglas High School in Box Elder, South Dakota with the class of 2003.

Daniel attended the University of Central Missouri for two years.  He then worked for multiple manufacturing facilities mostly in line production.  Daniel had just returned to UCM to continue his education in music.

Daniel was an extremely talented musician and artist, it was his true calling. He was a wonderful musician with many different instruments, guitar, drums, trumpet and keyboard as well as a talented artist composing many sketches and drawings. His talents did not stop there however, he was also an excellent chef and delighted in preparing a fabulous meal or dish for everyone to enjoy.

After living in Missouri & Tennessee, Daniel had settled in Warrensburg, making it his home with fiancée, Tory Depew, for several years.  The couple had plans of a loving life together.

Daniel was an animal lover with two dogs: Lobo, a Leonberger and Ophelia, a Blue Tick Coon Hound as well as two cats, Hamlet and Selina. He and Tory were even volunteers at the local animal shelter in Warrensburg.

He was a member of the National Society for Creative Anachronism, which is an international living history group with the aim of studying and recreating mainly Medieval European Cultures.

Daniel was a beautiful soul, a one of a kind and will be greatly missed by not only his family, but a lifetime of friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Dustin Maimer in 2004, maternal grandfather Billie Joe Reeve in 2011 and paternal grandmother Jean Maimer in 2013.
