Betty Jane Fields age 94 of Osawatomie, KS died Friday January 10, 2025 at Rock Creek of Ottawa.

Betty was born February 24, 1930 in Garnett, KS. She was the only child born to William Allen and Laura Nancy (Patterson) Williamson. She attended school in Osawatomie, KS.

On May 31, 1947, Betty married Oscar “Jack” Fields in Osawatomie, KS. Together they had four children: Rodney, Velinda, Delores and Gardner. They made their home in Osawatomie where they opened and ran Jack’s Glass Shop. Betty was a homemaker but also did the accounting at the glass shop.

They then were moved to Hershey, Pennsylvania until the snow got so deep, they couldn’t do it anymore and moved back to Osawatomie. They then reopened Jack’s Glass Shop.
