Beulah Christine Smith age 77 of Osawatomie, Kansas died Sunday, January 28, 2018 at North Point Skilled Nursing Center of Paola, Kansas.

Christine was born July 2, 1940 in Paola, Kansas.  She was the eldest of two daughters born to Leslie Darrel and Ruth Elizabeth (Porter) Bolling.  She grew up in Fontana, KS where she attended school.  She graduated with the Fontana High School class of 1960.

After high school, Christine married Clifford Eugene Dade in Miami, Oklahoma.  Together the couple had two daughters, Doris and Norma.  They traveled with Clifford while he was in the Navy.  The marriage later ended in divorce.

In 1974, Christine met Dean Leroy Smith.  They made their home in Osawatomie, KS and enjoyed many years together.

She is preceded in death by her father, Leslie Bolling.

Survivors include her husband, Dean L. Smith, Paola, KS; two daughters, Doris Johns of Paola, KS and Norma (Bob) Raper-Williams of Osawatomie, KS; mother, Ruth Bolling of Garnett, KS; one sister, Leslie JoAn Bolling Feighner of Lane, KS and two grandchildren Jason Johns and Mathew Johns.
