Carol Veda Brewer.... Age 77

Carol Veda Brewer age 77 of Paola, KS died Saturday December 3, 2022 at Olathe Medical Center.

Carol was born May 8, 1945 in LaCygne, KS. She was one of eight born to Elmer James and Fern Opal (Edwards) McClanahan. Carol grew up in LaCygne, KS.

On December 17, 1965 Carol married the love of her life and soulmate, Gerald Wayne Brewer, in Kings, California. Gerald was in the military and the family traveled all over the United States.

Carol stayed home to raise her six children and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading whatever she could get her hands on. Carol never met a stranger and could make conversation with anyone. She loved watching birds, her favorite being the cardinal. Carol was a classy lady.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents, sisters Cleda White, Vickey Murr, brothers Jess Edwards, Carl McClanahan, Kenneth McClanahan and grandson Gerald Brewer.

Survivors include; sons Terry Brewer, Robert Brewer and David Brewer, daughters Cathy Pearce, Correna Mills, Julie Brewer, sisters Linda Dodge and Joyce Brewer. Nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
