Christina Renee West age 41 of Osawatomie, KS died Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Miami County Medical Center in Paola, KS.

Chrissy was born November 29, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the oldest of three children born to William Allen Wright and Rachel Lee Redwine. She grew up and attended school in lots of places but graduated in 1994 in Swansboro, NC.

On October 3, 1992, Chrissy married Shamron Ferrell in LaCgyne, KS. Together the couple had two daughters Samantha and Miranda. Shamron was in the military so Chrissy traveled with him and was a stay at home mom and home maker. The marriage later ended in divorce.

When her daughters started school, Chrissy started working at Wal-Mart in the electronics department. She then went to work for Casey’s General store. On June 10, 2006, Chrissy married Matt West in Osawatomie, KS where they made their home. In 2007, Chrissy started her waitressing career. She worked for Whistlestop Café in Osawatomie, Circle-C in Paola and then the Flood Zone in Osawatomie. Then in 2015, Chrissy went to work for Tri-Ko Inc. as a caregiver until she had to quit working due to health problems.

Chrissy loved shooting pool. She was in the local pool league. She also liked to ride horses, shoot guns and go camping. She enjoyed going to the movies with her daughters and it became a hobby. Chrissy always spoiled her grandchildren and children. Family came first with Chrissy.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandson Micah Matheus Columbia.

Survivors include husband Matt of the home, daughters Samatha (Keith) Kriesel of Osawatomie and Miranda (William) Columbia of Osawatomie, Grandchildren Thomas Kristopher Goodall, Samantha Athena Kriesel, Elaina Shay, and Remington Renee Kriesel. Her dad William Wright of Nevada, MO. Two sisters, Kelly Otter of Nevada, MO and Dusty Ivy of Topeka, KS and Aunt Tootsie Redwine of Kansas City, KS.  Along with other family and friends.
