Christopher Pippin

Christopher Michael Pippin (37) passed away in his sleep at his home in Garnett, Ks from complications following a heart attack, Saturday, July, 21st, 2024.

Chris is survived by his mother, Dora Skeens. and preceded in death by his stepfather, Pete.

Christopher was born July, 4th, 1987 and grew up in Miami County. Where he graduated from Paola High School in 2005, later attending Flint Hills Jobcorp in Manhattan, Ks, where he studied Cement Masonry, and took courses at Metropolitan Community College in Lee Summit. He spent his youth working along side his stepfather in construction building and renovating houses.

Better known as “Pip” to his friends. Christopher was an avid video gamer and founding member of the discontinued local “Halo Night” social club. He was an amateur Magic: The Gathering player and a fan of anime, comic books, and general geek pop culture. He had many friends and was a close companion, confidant, and pillar of support for those who knew him.

He was loved and will be deeply missed by friends and family.

Visitation will be Wednesday July 31, 2024 6-8 pm at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie, Ks.
