Cinda Ann Atwater

September 12, 1962 — June 19, 2023

Cinda Ann Atwater age 60 of Osawatomie, KS passed away Monday June 19, 2023 at Olathe Medical Center.

Cinda was born in Paola, Kansas on September 12, 1962 to James and Barbara Zuel, and was brought up in a loving, Christian home surrounded by a loving family on a farm south of Osawatomie, Kansas and graduated from Osawatomie High School in1980. She worked towards an occupational therapy degree at Emporia State University and the University of Kansas. Cinda put her education to work helping others throughout her life. She served others by helping the clients at Triko for twenty one years, going above and beyond the call of duty to help the clients.

Cinda was a devout Christian who put her faith into action in her daily life in her relationships with others, and served Jesus Christ by being active in the First Presbyterian Church of Osawatomie, filling multiple leadership roles in the life of the Church. She was a ruling elder, clerk of session, moderator of Presbyterian Women and created craft items for the church.

Cinda was a creative person who had a passion for creating artistic craft items in multiple mediums. She created custom made greeting cards, knitted, and worked in other mediums, and passed on her love of crafts to others by teaching others how to make custom greeting cards, and gladly taught others how to create other crafts as well.

Cinda had a strong entrepreneurial spirit, and was on the crew that opened the Paola McDonald's and had multiple home businesses such as Stampin'  Up!,  31 products, Magnabilities, and Scentsy products. Her most artistic venture was her cake baking business, where she created wedding and other special occasion cakes for many years.

Cinda loved her family and friends and cared for all of her family, and was always helping her family and friends. Cinda's christian spirit motivated her to support and care for her family and friends in both good and bad times.

Cinda married Grady Atwater on June 11, 1994 at the First Presbyterian Church of Osawatomie, Kansas. Cinda and Grady were inseparable, and did everything together. Cinda and Grady were soulmates who stood by each other in good times and bad, and loved each other with all of their hearts and souls.

Cinda Ann Atwater was a christlike, courageous woman who supported and cared for others, and whose life was an eloquent sermon of what a Christlike woman should be.
