Clara Ann Burnett age 83 of Parker, KS died Monday November 22, 2021 at Health Care Resort of Olathe.
Clara was born February 23, 1938 in Kansas City, KS. She was the youngest child of George and Barbara Brooks. She grew up in Kansas City, graduating from Turner High School.
In 1960, Clara and James R. Stewart II were united in marriage. To this union came five children; Jimmy, Randy, Terry, Robby and Tammy. The marriage later ended in divorce. Then on December 9, 1997, Clara married Ellsworth Burnett in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Parker, KS.
Clara was a Licensed practical nurse for 40 years. She worked at various nursing homes in Miami County, Johnson County and California. After she retired from nursing, Clara worked part time at Tri-Ko Inc for a few years.
In her spare time, Clara’s favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren and children. She liked to cook and bake. Her family loved her Christmas candy, mac and cheese and French toast. She had a passion for decorating for every holiday. Clara was the life of the party.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ellsworth, her parents, a brother George Brooks and a sister Clara Brooks.
Survivors include children; Jimmy (Shirley) Stewart of Centerville, TN, Randy (Jeanne) Stewart of Drexel, MO, Terry (Jane) Stewart of Grandview, MO, Robby (Cherry) Stewart of Lane, KS and Tammy (Josh) Riggs of Parker, KS; three step children Edie (Keith) Dieker of Fontana, KS, Jody Burnett of Parker, KS and Susan Moylan of LaCygne, KS; 22 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. Along with other family and friends.
