Daniel Castro Deleon Jr

Daniel “Dan” Castro Deleon Jr age 46, of Osawatomie Kansas died April 29th, 2024 at his home due to natural causes.

He was born March 12th, 1978 to Daniel Deleon Sr and Teresa Miller in Aransas Pass, TX. He was the older sibling to his only brother, Tony Deleon.

He attended East Elementary School and Osawatomie Middle School in Osawatomie and then graduated from Prairie View High School in 1997.

During his school years he met and fell in love with Lisa Shadden. They had two children, Ashley in 1994 and Daniel in 1997. On February 7th, 1998 Dan and Lisa were united in marriage at the Wesleyan Church in Osawatomie.

Dan was a huge family man. He loved and cherished being with the ones he loved and was always making everyone smile and laugh with his silly jokes. He was an exceptional husband who loved his soulmate and high school sweetheart, Lisa, with all of his heart. They were inseparable until the day he passed away. He was a wonderful father who was so proud of his two children. He never missed an event and was always their biggest cheerleader. He was a dedicated employee of TriKo Inc, for 27 years. He took pride in his work and made sure his persons served were treated with the upmost respect and love. In his free time, he loved spending it going thrifting, antiquing, stealing everyone’s quarters at game night, whipping up a delicious meal or smorgasbord of snacks for everyone, loving on and playing with his two grandbabies-Henry and Juni,and quoting movie lines from some of his favorites. He loved collecting so many different treasures and was always on the hunt for next vintage find to add to his collection.

He is proceeded in death by his Mother Teresa Miller, Dad Daniel Deleon Sr. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Deleon 45, Daughter Ashley Deleon (Alexander Stookey)29, Son Daniel Deleon (Kayleigh Deleon)26, grandson Henry Deleon 3, Granddaughter Juni Stookey 1, and brother Tony Deleon
