Darrell Dee Ingram age 67of Louisburg, KS died Monday September 27, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center.

Darrell was born April 7, 1954 in Paola, KS. He was the younger of two born Frank Junior and Laylah Jeanne (Davidson) Ingram. He grew up in Osawatomie, graduating with the class of 1972.

After high school, Darrell went into the workforce. He worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad while working on the farm with his family. Then in 1977, Darrell went to work for General Motors. During his time at GM he held various positions. He retired from GM after 45.6 years.

On April 7, 2004, Darrell and Nancy Troutman were united in marriage in Eureka Spring, Arkansas. They made their home in Paola and then in Louisburg.

In his spare time, Darrell enjoyed gardening, being outside and playing with his dogs. He was an avid Chiefs, Royals and KU fan. On Saturday, Darrell and Nancy would travel to down town Kansas City to the City Market. Darrell’s favorite thing was spending time with his kids, grandkids and family. He was a member of the ELKs club in Osawatomie and the United Auto Workers.

He was preceded in death by his son Adam Ingram and his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Nancy of the home, daughter Randi (Kyle Buttera) Ingram of Clinton, MO, step daughter Brandi Clearwater of Louisburg, KS and step son Brandon Egner of Gardner, KS, six grandchildren, Kaydence, Vivian, Jayden, Jodi, Taylor and Ashton. One brother, Doyle (Sharon) Ingram of Moore, OK, two brother-in-law’s Gary (Monika) Troutman of Osawatomie, KS and Brian (Sandi) Troutman of Burlington, KS. Along with many nieces, nephew, other family and friends.
