David Charles Ault.... Age 76

David Charles Ault age 76 of Osawatomie, KS died June 6, 2020 at Life Care Center of Osawatomie.

David was born November 12, 1943 in Kansas City, MO. He was the only child born to Charley E and Helen V ( Vinson ) Ault. He grew up and attended North East High school. Graduating with the class of 1962. David then went to work for the Internal Revenue Service. He worked in the mail room.

On January 10, 1970, David and Christina McCoy were united in marriage in Osawatomie, KS. They made their home in South Kansas City, MO and then later moved to Belton, MO. David and Christina worked together at the IRS until David’s retirement in the early 1980’s.

In his free time, David enjoyed doing leather work. He enjoyed playing cards, watching Chief’s football, Royals baseball with Chris and playing chess. He is a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church of Osawatomie.

He was preceded in death by his wife Christina and his parents.

Survivors include daughter Jill Ault of Belton, MO, sister-in-law Millie (Buddy) Burgoon of Beagle, KS. Four grandchildren Christian, Brandon, Alexis and McKenzie Ault and great grandchildren Avery and Weston Kelley, his long time friend C Michael Bobbitt of Kansas City MO . Along with other family and friends.
