Diana Dee Wright

Diana Dee Wright age 81 of Osawatomie, KS died Monday May 20, 2024 at North Point Nursing Home in Paola, KS.

Diana was born July 16, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was the eldest of three born to Frank Hubert and Rosalie Lillian (Robinson) Bowker. She graduated with the Osawatomie High School Class of 1960.

After high school, Diana worked at Mode-O-Day in Osawatomie and then in Ottawa. She then worked for Rose Construction as an office manager. For over 15 years, Diana worked for Gerry Optical in Merriam, Kansas. She was an office manager until her retirement. She then worked for a short time at Wal-Mart in Paola.

Diana volunteered many places over the years. Mainly at the First United Methodist Church of Osawatomie where she was a long time member. She was a choir director, Sunday School teacher and active with the United Methodist Women. Diana was a member of the Amazing Grace Choir and the Eighth Note Choir. When her children were younger, Diana ran a dance studio in Osawatomie. Her and her mother made all the costumes for the recitals.

She was preceded in death by her son Thomas White, her parents and brother Bruce Bowker.

Survivors include her children; Rebecca (Kevin) Renner of Osawatomie and Andrew (Amy) Wright of Paola, KS, sister Jackie Needham of Osawatomie, KS, eight grandchildren; TJ White, L’Eryn Hahn, Angel Barnett, Ashley White, Elizabeth Renner, Jastin Wright, Delaney Wright, and Mathias Wright, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
