Dixie Lee (Knight) Anderson Martin was born in Paola, KS on August 20, 1938. She remained in Paola until she married Jack Anderson on August 20, 1954 and they became residents of Spring Hill, KS.

Dixie gave birth to one daughter, Rebecca and two sons, Danny and David. She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Gracie Knight, daughter Rebecca, son Danny, sister Mary Lou White and husband, Jack Anderson.

Dixie is survived by son David Anderson of Spring Hill, Kansas, sister Patsy Gallagher of Olathe, Kansas, sister Melody Carpenter of Wellsville, Kansas and husband YD "Marty" Martin of Mission, Texas.

Dixie had 3 children, 4 step- children, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 10 step- grandchildren, 20 step-great grandchildren and 3 step- great great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Dixie remained in Mission, Texas with her husband Marty until she was taken to heaven due to complications from cancer on June 6, 2019.
