Douglas Arthur Prasko

Douglas "Doug" Arthur Prasko passed away with his daughter at his side on June 12th 2023 at Miami County Medical Center.

Doug was born on August 2, 1963 in Los Angeles California to Robert "Bob" Prasko and Francis "Dian" Prasko ( Richardson). His family later made their home in Colony, Kansas where he graduated high-school. In December of 1988 he married Kathy Prasko (Farrer) and together they had 2 daughters, Renesha and Victoria. Their marriage later ended in divorce and he moved back to California. While working in California he met and became engaged to Kimberly perry, and after separating 9 months later his only son devon perry was born.

Doug worked in the construction industry and was a crane operator for most of his life before opening up his own watercraft rental business in Quartzsite, Arizona, which he was very proud of. In 2019 he moved back "home" to be closer to his daughter and grandkids and settled in Osawatomie, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister Lisa. He leaves behind his daughters Renesha Prasko of Paola, Victoria Prasko of Osawatomie, and his son Devon Perry of Bend, OR and 5 grandchildren Emma, Trystan, Hadleigh-Jo, Cooper, and Ophelia. Also included are his brother Steve Prasko (Lynette) and Shelly Strickler (Garrett) and many other extended relatives.


Any contributions can be made directly to Eddy Birchard funeral home in Osawtomie Kansas. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
