Dwain Ray Seltz age 63 of Osawatomie, KS died Wednesday March 3, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center.

Dwain was born October 16, 1957 in Abilene, TX. He was the third of four children born to Bobby Earl and Norma Lee (Jones) Seltz. He graduated from Klein Oak High School in Spring, TX.

After high school, Dwain enlisted into the United States Air Force. He was stationed at the Randolph Air Force Base in Texas. Then in 1986, nearly six years of service he was honorably discharged.

Dwain then went into farming. He owned his own farm called Diamond S Farms in Sheldon, MO. Dwain had cattle, pigs and harvested hay. Then Dwain operated various small businesses with his father for a number of years. He then got into the security business. First working at a Branson Resort in Branson, MO and then he was an armed security guard at a bank in Houston, TX. Dwain retired in 2011.

In his spare time, Dwain enjoyed hunting, fishing and eating Mexican and drinking margaritas. He was a proud veteran. Most of all, Dwain was a wonderful father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children Chad (Kristen) Seltz and Shane Seltz all of Republic, MO and Charlotte (Melissa) Keele of Osawatomie, KS. Brothers Joe (Carol) Seltz of Houston, TX, Monty (Lisa) Seltz of Magnolia, TX and Steve (Becky) Seltz of Montgomery, TX. Two grandchildren, Kaden and Caimen Seltz. Along with other family and friends.
