Glenda Sue Machemer age 74 of Paola, Kansas died Sunday January 7, 2018 at her home.
Glenda was born December 15, 1943 in Carthage, Missouri. She was the eldest of six children born to Glen Lee & Eva Mae (Green) Waisner. She grew up in Carthage and graduated with her General Education Diploma.
In 1963, Glenda married Chester Pippin in Carthage, MO. Together the couple has four children, Larry Ray, Chester Lee, Jerry Wayne and Dora Marie. They made their home in Carthage, MO. Then Chester passed away in 1969. Glenda then married Irvin “Mac” Machemer in 1971 in Paola, KS. They made their home in Paola.
Glenda was a CMA and worked for Medical Lodge in Paola. She retired in 2017 after 35 years. At one time, Glenda and her children all worked at Medical Lodge. She loved her job! If she wasn’t working, Glenda was going to church or scrapbooking. She was a member of Endless Mercy church in Paola. Her church was very important to her.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Chester Pippin, three sons, Larry Pippin, Chester Pippin and Jerry Pippin, her parents, and brother Jimmy Waisner.
Survivors include, husband Irvin “Mac” Machemer of the home, daughter Dora Skeens of Fontana, KS, sisters Carolyn (Steve) Lewis of Sarcoxie, MO, Brenda (Art) Allensworth of Topeka, KS and Eva Waisner of Cleveland, MO, one brother Ricky Waisner of Carthage, MO and two grandchildren Christopher & Samantha Pippin. Along with other family and friends.
