Glenna Rae Burton... Age 81

Glenna Rae Burton age 81 of Osawatomie, KS died Friday December 4, 2020 at her home.

Glenna was born November 11, 1939 in Appleton City, MO. She was the only child born to Glenn D. and Hazel E. (Winters) Ethridge.

On June 20, 1958 Glenna was united in marriage to Ronald “Jack” Burton at the Dayton Community Church, Dayton, Missouri. Together they had three sons; Ralph, Ron and Randy.

Glenna was a stay at home mom and housewife until her sons were in school or out of the house. Then she went into the workforce. She worked at Wal-Mart in Louisiana in 1981. Then she worked at Swan Manor as an Aide. Glenna was the activities director at Pine Crest Nursing home for five years. She then went to work for Paola Senior Center in Administration for eight years before retiring.

In her free time, Glenna loved travelling with Jack to various places. New Orleans and Niagra Falls being two of her favorites. She also enjoyed going to any casinos along the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, son Ralph Burton and parents.

Glenna is survived by sons,  Ron Burton and wife, Monica, Louisburg, Kansas Randy Burton, Lane, Kansas and

daughter-in-law Rose Burton, Lane, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Eric, Marci, Cherish, Cala, Lacey, J.D., Dwight and Rebecca; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
