James L. “Jimmy” Lewis age 55 of Osawatomie, KS died April 2, 2019 at his home.

Jimmy was born December 2, 1963 in Kansas City, KS. He was the 2 ^nd of four children born to James Clifton and Frances Faye (Sams) Lewis. He attended elementary school in DeSoto and then Junior High and High School in Osawatomie. Graduating with the Osawatomie High School Class of 1982.

After high school, Jimmy worked odd jobs with his brother and uncle. Then he found his calling in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant. He also worked for a short time at Delco Battery. Then in 2007, Jimmy had to stop working due to his health.

Jimmy was a collector. He collected die cast cars, Native American collectibles and NASCAR memorabilia. He enjoyed building model cars and trucks. Jimmy liked to watch NASCAR, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and Dallas Cowboys.

He was preceded in death by his dad James and his first wife Tammy Lewis.

Survivors include his two children Brandon Pompey of LaCygne, KS and Jessica Lewis of Paola, KS, his mother Frances Lewis of Paola, KS, siblings Randy (Carol) Lewis of Osage City, KS, Kevin Lewis of Fontana, KS and Cheryl (Max) Renner of Wilburton, OK. Along with other family and friends.
