Joe Reifer age 57 of Paola, KS passed away Friday June 30, 2023 at Medical Lodge of Paola.

Joe was born September 13, 1965 in Red Lodge, Montana. He was the fifth of six children born to Benjamin Russell and Edna May (Onken) Reifer. Joe attended school in Billings, Montana.

In his free time, Joe enjoyed fishing, camping and riding horses. He never met a stranger and he had a heart of gold. Joe was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paola, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Reifer and Edna Onken, step mother Judy (Syndergaard) Reifer, brother Mj Reifer and sister Malinda Drew.

Survivors include siblings; Karl Reifer of Emporia, KS, Jake Reifer of Bakersville, LA, Kim Reifer of Mazola, MT and Joreen Mills of Denver, CO, numerous nieces and nephews. Along with other family and friends.
