John Garett Diediker age 23 of Osawatomie, KS died Sunday January 29th 2023.
John Garett was born June 20, 1999 in Merriam, KS. He was the youngest born to John Edward Diediker and Michelle Ann Robinson. He grew up in Osawatomie where he attended school. Graduating with the Osawatomie High School Class of 2017.
Right out of high school, John Garett went to work for Taylor Forge Engineering in Paola for a short time. Then in March of 2018, John Garett followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He went to California for boot camp. Then was stationed in Pensacola, FL, Japan and was currently stationed in Hawaii.
John Garett was the best uncle, but then in January of 2022 he was promoted to Dad when his son Cooper Wayne was born. In his free time, he loved fishing, hunting, camping and working out. John Garett liked food and could nap anywhere. While stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, he taught gymnastics and wrestling to young children. He has been described as caring, loving, goofy, fun and adventurous. He lit up the room when he walked in and brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa Ted Robinson.
Survivors include his son Cooper Wayne Diediker, his parents Michelle Robinson of Osawatomie and John & Lisa Diediker of Rantoul , siblings Natalia (Tyler) Daniels, Tabatha (Derrick) Brewer, Kitana (Kyler) Parscale, Joseph Robinson, Livid Brewer-Robinson, Alex Brewer-Robinson, Thomas Robinson and Lillianna Robinson. Grandparents John and Lynda Diediker, Betty Robinson, Radie Spratt and Johnny Smith. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Along with many friends.
