Celebration of Life: 1 pm Saturday December 30, 2017 at Parker Senior Center, Parker, Kansas
followed by burial of ashes at the Goodrich Cemetery.

John Wesley Hearn Jr age 70 of Parsons, KS died December 20, 2017 of Labette Health in Parsons, KS.

Johnny was born May 4, 1947 in Osawatomie, KS. He was the second of five children born to John Wesley and Geraldine Loriee (Oram) Hearn. He lived in Osawatomie, Paola, Winfield and Parsons, KS. His last residence was Parsons State Hospital and training Center at Elm Cottage.

Johnny enjoyed his many outings, going to a ball game, car races, seeing Christmas lights or just going for a ride. He also participated many times in the Special Olympics. His favorite pastime was playing connect 4.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Geraldine Hearn Seiler.

Survivors include Brother Donald (Linda) Hearn of Gardner. Sisters Wanda Skeens of Ottawa, Irene (Daniel) Isbell of Kansas City, KS and Iris Bailey of Paola. Four nieces and two nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Along with his second family, the staff at Elm Cottage where he was known as Pops.
