Joshua Neil Coffelt... Age 40

Joshua Neil Coffelt age 40 of Osawatomie, KS passed away Sunday March 27, 2022.

Josh was born July 19, 1981 in Olathe, KS. He was the second of three children born to Philip Neil and Jolene Sue (Lyons) Coffelt. He grew up in Osawatomie, KS where he attended school and earned his GED.

After school, Josh went into the work force. His love of vehicles took him into the field of auto mechanics. He worked locally at Brewer’s Automotive and then K&T Auto where he was currently working.

In his spare time, Josh enjoyed riding his motorcycle and going to dirt track racing. Josh was very active in a Pool League. For two and half years, Josh was a member of the Osawatomie Fire Department. His favorite thing in this life was his children, his family and friends. Josh loved going camping with his kids. He smoked meat and his specialty was smoking cheese-its.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandpa Basil Coffelt and maternal grandpa Milo Lyons.

Survivors include his children, Drake Coffelt, Trey Coffelt, Tempest Coffelt and Pheniox Coffelt. His parents Philip and Jolene Coffelt of Osawatomie, KS, brother Chad (Alisia) Coffelt and sister Kyla (Adrien) Serigny. Paternal grandma Jeris (Dial) Coffelt and maternal grandma Judy (Golden) Lyons. Along with numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
