Joyce Marie Davenport age 81 died Thursday August 13, 2021 at Olathe Hospice House.

Joyce was born October 5, 1939 in Durham, North Carolina. She was the youngest of three born to Marlin and Ruth Davenport. Joyce lived in California where she worked as a waitress and in security. Then in 1993, she moved to Osawatomie, KS where she worked at Miami County Medical Center in the nutrition department. In her free time, Joyce loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She also loved cats.

She was preceded in death by her son Steve Hensley, parents and one sister Dorothy Barrett.

Survivors include her son Todd Leeper of Bonner Springs, KS, grandchildren Tim, Jeff, Trenton and Heather Leeper and two great grandchildren Mason and Elsie; one sister Janet Pratt of Banning, CA. Along with other family and friends.
