Julie Marie Yeafoli age 44 of Osawatomie, KS died Wednesday November 7, 2018 at her home.

Julie was born August 8, 1974 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was the youngest of five children. She was born to Don Bernard Yeafoli and Kelly Jean Reed. She graduated high school in 1992 from Upper Lake High School in Upper Lake, CA. She then attended California State University.

Three of her greatest accomplishments were her children, Kevin Jake, Jonathan Bernard and Rose Marie Mabel. While raising her children Julie also worked. She worked at various places as a cook and a waitress. Then when she was 28 years old, Julie’s kidneys failed and she was unable to work.

Julie was a phenomenal cook. There was nothing she made that was bad. Her family loved her meatloaf and enchiladas. Around Thanksgiving she was famous for her pecan and pumpkin pies.  When Julie wasn’t cooking she kept herself busy! She loved the Kansas City Royals, especially when George Brett played. Julie was crafty and liked doing puzzles and coloring. Every day at 1 o’clock you could find Julie watching her favorite soap opera General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her father Don Yeafoli.

Survivors include her partner Rick Weber of the home, children Kevin Jake Mindez of Fort Richardson, AK, Jonathan Mindez of Osawatomie, KS and Rose Mindez of Osawatomie, KS, a step-daughter Kylie Rose Mindez of California and a step-son Jimmy Weber of Osawatomie and grandson Hudson Castillo of Osawatomie, KS. Her mother Kelly Seales of Woodston, KS. Siblings Jason Yeafoli of Pacifica, CA, Paul Yeafoli of Sacramento, CA, Jennifer Rockhold of Parker, CO and Jaci Altic of Ottawa, KS. Along with nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
