Kathe Marlene Norris

Kathe Marlene Norris, age 62, of Paola, KS passed from this earth with family by her side on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Kathe was born on September 12,1961 to Charles Jerome and Nancy D. (Russell) Norris. She grew up in Kansas City, KS and attended J. C. Harmon high school where she graduated with the class of 1979. After high school, Kathe became a mother to two daughters, Miste and Ashlie. Kathe worked in various places throughout the years. Dollar General and Bert’s Truck Stop were a couple of her favorites.
Kathe had an amazing artistic ability. She loved to draw and crochet. She was an avid cleaner. She loved to clean and organize her home. She loved all animals, especially cats. Kathe was member of the Rosedale Baptist Church for many years. She loved people and would give her last penny to help anyone who needed it.
Kathe is preceded in death by both of her parents, and two nephews, David and Kyle . She is survived by her daughters, Miste (Michael) Brown of Garnett, KS, and Ashlie Thompson of Raytown, MO, two brothers, Charles “Jerr” Norris, Jr. (Linda), and Rex Michael Norris (Nancy), sister, Debbie (Henry) Horn,  three grandchildren, Davien and Daylon Brown, and Lauryn Moore, and one great-granddaughter, Emery Beltran.
