Keith Allen McCoy Sr. age 59 of Osawatomie, KS died Saturday February 16, 2019 at his home.

Keith was born March 18, 1959 in Paola, KS. He was the third of five children born to Kenneth James McCoy Sr. and Ruby May (Elliot) Farley. Keith grew up in Osawatomie where he attended school.

After high school, Keith worked construction then went down south and worked on the chain gang for the railroad.  He also built houses. Then in 1983, Keith started working for the City of Osawatomie in the Water Department. In 1990, he hurt his back and had to quit working.

In his spare time, Keith enjoyed fishing, hunting and shooting guns. He also liked to collect metal scraps and recycle them. Keith was ornery but he was a family man. He loved every one of his children and would do anything to help them. He is a member of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his father, brother Kenneth J. McCoy Jr and grandson Michael McCoy Jr.

Survivors include children Keith (Jakeina) McCoy Jr of Osawatomie, Michael(Amanda) McCoy Sr of Osawatomie, Lee McCoy of Osawatomie, Kenny (Desiree) Offutt of Drexel, MO, Samuel (Bailey) Robb of Osawatomie and Kristina (Trevor) Cockerill of Spring Hill, KS and 15 grandchildren. His mother Ruby Farley, Sisters, Connie Wunder, Shirley McCoy and Sharan Joles. Along with other family and friends.
