Keith Alan Pride... Age 36

Keith Alan Pride age 36 of Osawatomie, KS passed away Wednesday September 21, 2022.

Keith was born May 4, 1986 in Emporia, KS. He was the youngest child born to William F. and Sharon L. (Jarred) Pride. He attended school in Waverly KS.

In January of 2011, Keith had a daughter with Carrie Jeter of Kansas City, MO. They named her Khloe Belle Smith-Pride. The last four years were spent with his daughter Khloe, girlfriend Kelsey Robertson and her son Brayden Adkins. Keith was a professional truck driver for 10 years and was currently was a boat technician at Jayhawk Marina in Hillsdale, KS.

In September of 2019, Keith was baptized by Pastor Virginia Adams of the Community of Christ Church in Osawatomie, KS. He spent his free time fishing on his boat and rebuilding them. Keith was loved by many and disliked by some, but he never met a stranger in his life.

He was preceded in death by his father William F. Pride, paternal grandparents Kenneth and Louise Pride and maternal grandfather Johnnie C. Jarred.

Survivors include his daughter Khloe Smith-Pride of Paola, KS, son Kaiden Todd Kraft, Grandmother Trudy L. Jarred of Emporia, KS, mother Sharon L. Pride, and stepdad James “Jim” Merchant of Fontana, KS, brother Jeremy E. Fanning and sister-in-law Mavis W. Anderson of Fontana, KS, brother Kevin W. Pride and sister-in-law Deana Gialde of Kearney, MO, brother Kenneth R. Pride of Osawatomie, KS, sister Tina Russell Busko of Ocean City, MD, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
