Kerri Lisa Spurgeon age 52 of Osawatomie, KS died Thursday May 14, 2020 at Olathe Hospice House.

Kerri was born October 6, 1967, in Livingston, NJ. She was the fifth of six children born to Steven Richard Steinberg and Roxanne Tobin. She lived in New Jersey until she was ten when her family moved to Florida where she attended JFK High School.

Then, in 1987, while in Goodrich, KS, Kerri met Kenneth Spurgeon. On May 7, 1988, Kenny and Kerri were married in Osawatomie. Together the couple had two children, Courtney and Andrew. They made their home in Osawatomie.

Kerri was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, taking pictures and scrapbooking. Her biggest joys were her grandchildren who she spoiled to no end.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Roxanne Tobin, and brother, Paul Steinberg.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Kenny, daughter Courtney (Braxton) Taylor of Fort Huachuca, Arizona, son Andrew (fiance - Brandy) Spurgeon of Iola, Kansas, grandchildren Zavier, Zachary and Evelyn, brothers Mark Steinberg of Connecticut, Neil Steinberg of Maryland, sisters Kim Beightol of Tennessee and Blair Bodrato of New Jersey, and other family and friends.
