Leota Jean Lile age 83 of Parker, KS passed away Thursday October 3, 2024 at Olathe Medical Center.
Jean was born October 8, 1940 in Miami County, Kansas to Harold and Martha (Fields) Farris. She was the eldest of nine children. Jean grew up in Osawatomie, graduating with the Osawatomie High School class of 1959.
After high school, Jean went to work for the Osawatomie State Hospital. She was a License Mental Health Technician for a number of years until she had to retire early.
In March of 1964, Jean and Otis Clyde Lile were united in marriage in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Parker, Kansas with their two boys Roger and Kevin.
Jean helped Otis around the farm and enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Osawatomie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Otis, son Roger Hampton, her parents, one brother Les Farris and her sister Carol Payne
Survivors include; son Kevin Lile, grandchildren; Travis Hampton, Clint Hampton, Seth Hampton, Ethan Hampton and Krysten Brown-Lile; five great grandchildren; Wyatt, Otis, McKenzie, Jackson and Briar. Siblings; Bill Jackson, Mary Schmale, Leona Snyder, Connie Deffenbaugh, Betty Hendrickson and Grace Plummer.
