Levi Kyle Mills, 29, of Lane, died March 26, 2019.  He was born June 17, 1989 in Ottawa to Edward Mills and Kimberly (McIlvain) Poage.

Levi attended school at both Central Heights and Lawrence, Kansas.

Levi had very few worldly possessions but he was always ready to help anyone he could and would give a stranger the shirt off his back, if he thought it would help them out. He loved fishing, the outdoors, tinkering, rebuilding small engines and helping many people. Levi was loved by those who he knew and helped. He always had a smile for those he cared for and when ask he would always say he was okay. He had a huge heart and wore it on his sleeve.

Levi is survived by his mother and step-father Kim and Brandon Poage and step-sister Ireland of the home, his sister Rachel De LaTorre of Ottawa and her children Damien and Jasmine Moore. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Mary Needham of Lane, Clarence and Karen McIlvain of Ottawa, and Rex Needham of Lane; and his paternal grandmother, Virginia Welch of Ottawa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts and great uncles and people he considered family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Mills and a nephew Rex James Moore

He was cremated at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie. No further arrangements have been made at this time.
