Lillian Walker 61, was born Nov. 5, 1958 to Louis Walker Sr. and Willa Mae (Walker) Guilford in Chicago, Illinois. In 1964 Willa Mae Guilford and Hurbert Earl Guilford relocated the family to Osawatomie, KS. Lilliam was baptized and a life long member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, where in the choir she found her heavenly voice.
Lillian attended and graduated from Osawatomie School District in 1977. After graduating, she worked for the Osawatomie State Hospital for 18 yrs, and then worked for Tri-Ko in Osawatomie for 21 yrs, before retiring.
Throughout her younger years, Lilliam enjoyed singing and dancing. She loved disco, R&B, classic soul and of course, the gospel. No one could touch her and her brother Louis of the dance floor. But nothing meant more in life to her than family. All of her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews became her kids. She also loved to cook, (her fried chicken).
Lillian, who was also known as (Tubby or Aunt Tubby) departed this stage of life, on Aug, 2020 to join her mother Wila Mae, grand mother's Barbara Lewis and Lillian Walker, great-grandmother Erma Baltizar and sister Angela Walker.
She leaves to love her forever, (4) sisters- Marilyn Berry (Jackie), Wanda Freeman (Terry), Cynthia Walker, and Hope Thurman (Tim) and (5) brothers- Louis Walker (Manuel), Hurbert Guilford Jr (Kathy), Flloyd Guilford, Hurbert Guilford III (Naomi, and Wesley Harris. All of her babies (her nieces and nephews), and a host of family, friends, neighbors, and the entire Black Ties (B.T.T.O.) Community.
